The works here are all derived from a single drawing of a shadow that was formed by the resin part of 'Cloche', seen on this site in the 'Steel and Bioresin' gallery. The obsessive, repetitive methods apparent in much of Anya's work are being played out here by the production of pieces in steel or paper that originate from a single source and are all related to each other.  The paper works are a combination of the original drawn stencils used for the steel piece's production, printed photographs of the work that are cut and then inserted and a range of other papers. The steel pieces are hand-cut by the artist using a plasma cutter, then forged and finally professionally powder coated.
