Images of 2 installations commissioned by The Trinity Buoy Wharf. Trust The first made from their pre-used paper and paper from surrounding communities. The second installation is an exterior piece made from powder-coated steel, which is sited on the side of one of their re-purposed shipping container studios. The forms in the work reference the blaze of the lighthouse light, the diamond shapes come from the panes of glass in the light house light window and the tread of the stairs that take you there. The colours are borrowed from the sky and the Thames and the ‘Trinity Blue’ of their container buildings. These works can be visited when Trinity Buoy Wharf is open to the public, usually at weekends. Check for details. See below for images of completed installations and details shots.
